Great video for beginners, well done
Thanks a lot your a great help for me^^
Hi, it first depends on the situation. But more important is a good tripod. If you zoom in every vibration at the camera / lens will be more visible in the picture. If you want to zoom in, try to use a cable-remote (look at your local dealer for a cheap one from adit or so), it must not be the original one from canon or nikon. If you have any Q’s feel free to answer. Maybe you want to watch some of my Behind-the-scenes-videos too
Oh and 1 more question…….sorry for the trouble if I’m using a standard zoom do I zoom in or zoom out or does it depends on the situation if I’m shooting night scene?
Yes, that’s right…
So….do I close increase the f-stop to let’s say f8 and experiment with a longer exposure time if I were to shoot a night scence?
Haha, the best advice I’ve ever heard…
Love your vids & tests, Gordon!
You can reduce the exposure time but it will be ineffective because f1.4 means small amount of depth of field. So if you are photographing people, there will be only a small area be sharp, let’s say only the eyes, nothing else in the face like the nose or brows…
I just wanna ask what if my lens is a 50mm f/1.4G? Do I reduce the exposure time?
I thought you were gonna say “Im gorgdon ramsey!”
You look a bit like him, but with no hair…
No offence.
thanks Gordon!
i liked that vid x
Yeah, forget your camera and enjoy the music!
